Two Decades of Hands-On Healing
I’ve been an OT for over 25 years, with a career deeply rooted in helping people restore balance in their bodies and lives. From early on, I felt a pull toward understanding the whole human—not just their symptoms, but their stories.
Over the years, I’ve provided hands-on soft tissue therapy to a diverse range of clients across all ages and walks of life, helping them to improve function, reduce pain and enhance their quality of life… And yet, for all the physical work I was doing with my clients, something kept nudging at me — a quiet but persistent awareness that true healing couldn’t be achieved by addressing the body alone. We cannot fully calm the nervous system without also nurturing the mind and spirit. This realisation led me into the next phase of my professional journey- the study of applied mindfulness. Through this work, I deepened my understanding of meditation practices, thought awareness techniques, and evidence-based methods for stress reduction — all aimed at helping individuals recognize how their personal stories and life experiences shape their health and well-being. As a result, I have evolved my practice into a more holistic approach, one that integrates both bodywork and mindful awareness to support healing on every level.
And this shift is what led to Mind Body Spirit Fusion—a natural evolution of both my clinical practice and personal healing. A space that bridges my life as an OT with my life as an entrepreneur, and allows me to support others in a way that feels deeply aligned.
Now, I run health and wellbeing retreats to help others connect the dots between their inner and outer worlds. It’s where science meets soul, and healing becomes something you feel—not just something you fix.
And through all of this, I’ve had the privilege of working at Langer Health—a business I’ve been part of for over 20 years and now proudly co-own. It’s where I continue to support clients in a more traditional setting, while this space allows me to go deeper into the emotional and spiritual sides of wellness.
